I didn't want to lose an engine due to software problems or failures. I wanted an easy to use system that gave me all the capabilities that I could ever dream of using. I wanted LOTS of datalogging memory, just so I could play around with a laptop and pretend I know what I'm doing!!!
For what I wanted from my Engine Management System, the choice was basically down to two products - Motec or Autronic. While Autronic have a quality product used successfully all over the place, I couldn't help but feel that Motec were just up another notch again in research and development. Top level race teams all over the world are using this product, and the fact that it's made here in Australia makes it that much better!
